Wild goldfinch

The goldfinch is one of the very beautiful birds in terms of shape, color and appearance. The most important thing is its tweeting and its beautiful voice, as the goldfinch is one of the best birds ever at learning the songs of the wild birds that exist in its surroundings in particular and of other migratory wild birds in general. This is what makes the goldfinch an excellent singing bird due to its ability to learn and imitate the sounds of many other wild birds. Below is some information about the goldfinch, which is a detailed research on this type of beautiful wild bird.

Naming the goldfinch:

The goldfinch is called the goldfinch due to its beautiful voice and its shape of color and shape of a melodious sound. The word “hassoun” is a diminutive of the word “hasan,” and the word “hasoun” is a proper noun and its plural is “hassoun.” Among the names of the goldfinch in Arabic, it is also called: the Eurasian Goldfinch, the European Goldfinch, but colloquially in North Africa it is called the Muqnain or Muqnain, or the Goldfinch.

Hepatitis in ornamental birds, its symptoms and treatment

Hepatitis in ornamental birds is one of the most common diseases in raising ornamental birds, especially in goldfinches and canaries. Due to the many questions about the subject, we will try to address it in this article, and we will discuss in it all the problems related to liver diseases of ornamental birds, as well as preventive methods and also some Natural treatments and medications for bird liver diseases.

Treatment of hepatitis in birds, its symptoms and treatment

Definition of fowl hepatitis

Ornamental bird liver disease is considered one of the very common diseases in most ornamental birds, especially goldfinches and canaries. Ornamental bird liver diseases appear clearly visible, as birds infected with the disease show some symptoms such as complete fatigue and lethargy, as well as withdrawing into one of the corners of the cage. Its movement is very slow compared to usual.

Symptoms of the liver disease of ornamental birds are diarrhea, sometimes difficulty breathing, with some trembling and shaking at the level of the bird’s dale. As for the goldfinch, we notice a change in the color of its red mask, turning a little darker, which is clear evidence of a disturbance in the functioning of the liver. The color of the excrement of ornamental birds changes. Honor, God bless you. It is dark green in color, and sometimes dark brown or dark. It may have a waxy appearance, that is, it has some fats that make it somewhat waxy. Some birds also have some spots along the beak, and in some cases, a few spots and skin ulcers appear on them, even if they happen to occur. She has bleeding and it does not stop easily. The most important thing is the appearance of dark red spots in the bird’s abdomen.

Types of bird liver diseases

Liver diseases and infections in birds are divided into three types, which are:

1 Viral hepatitis, which is the most dangerous, as the disease is contagious, and intervention must be taken by isolating the bird from the group, and it must be dealt with with extreme care, as it is one of the fatal diseases that kill the bird in a few days, which may not exceed a week in the most extreme cases.

2  Hepatitis resulting from the accumulation of fat at the level of the liver. This inflammation is the result of the bird’s excessive obesity and the liver’s inability to tolerate pressure and its failure to perform its functions properly.

3 Hepatitis resulting from poisoning, either by over-providing medications or over-providing vitamins to ornamental birds, or by exposing birds to successive food poisonings for very long periods, and the reason for this is providing grains or seeds to birds that are either expired or have spoiled as a result of shipping, distribution, or preservation. Wholesale of ornamental bird foodor falsifying expiration dates or using grains and seeds of unknown origin.

How is the bird examined to ensure it is infected with hepatitis?

To know that the bird is suffering from hepatitis, you must inspect the bird as soon as you notice its lethargy: First, you must hold the bird and examine its abdomen carefully. If you see a dark spot in its abdomen, below the left side of its rib cage, this is clear evidence that it is infected with this disease. Secondly, its exit is stained with semi-fatty feces. Thirdly, all the symptoms mentioned in the first paragraph appear, and this is clear evidence that the bird is sick and infected with hepatitis. As for confirming whether the disease is viral or non-viral, unfortunately this is only possible through laboratory tests.

How do we deal with a bird infected with hepatitis?

When a breeder discovers that his bird suffers from hepatitis, he must do the following:

1: Immediately isolate the bird infected with hepatitis from the group of healthy birds.

2: Providing a quiet, warm place for a bird suffering from hepatitis.

3: Change the cage of the previous bird that was infected with hepatitis and put the bird in a clean or new cage.

4: Remove the food and replace it with new food, as is the case with water and water for a bird infected with hepatitis.

5: Ensure the validity of the grains, as well as their originality, if they are a mixture manufactured by a company

6: Providing medication for those suffering from hepatitis and supporting other healthy patients.

7: Develop a special diet for the bird suffering from hepatitis.

8: Cleaning and sterilizing the bird room, sterilizing the cages and supplies, as well as examining the other birds to see if they are healthy or infected with hepatitis, God forbid.

9: Ventilate the room and fumigate it with some aromatic herbs such as wormwood and olive leaves as well.

10: Provide the agarita mixture to birds, especially the infected bird, before administering the medicine, in order to absorb toxins from the intestines and liver.

11 :  Providing veterinary medicine for birds or special medicine for birds, and there are many examples such as a nutritional supplement  avicole  Fill the cup accompanying the bottle twice and add 1 liter of Water or two cups of 500 grams of egg patty or egg patty mixture served to birds for three consecutive days.

Bird food mixture for feeding canary and goldfinch chicks:

A wonderful natural home-made feeding mixture for young birds, suitable for feeding young birds (finch, canary, hybrid, and all birds that feed on seeds). During the production period, due to the request of some loved ones for the subject, in accordance with their desire, and in fulfillment of the promise I had made to you previously, by the grace of God, the video was uploaded to your channel, Hobby Birds, on YouTube, and it is about my exclusive and special mixture of natural and home-made materials and manufacturing, which I have monopolized for three years, and today, God willing, I will share with everyone who… It is needed in order to dispense with artificial mixtures, firstly, and secondly, which are expensive, which are not available most of the time in all Arab countries. In order not to make the video too long for you, hello everyone, and thank you for your continued support. I also welcome all new friends to join the bird hobby family by subscribing and activating the bell button to receive you. What’s new, God willing. May you always be in God’s protection and care.

Ingredients of the baby bird feed mixture:

Ground grains, boiling water or mineral water, a little olive oil as shown in the video below, a little 100% natural bee honey, boiled egg yolk.

Ingredients of bird food mixture

It is rich in all the important nutrients for the proper and proper growth of birds: proteins (plant and animal), carbohydrates, fats (saturated and unsaturated) saturated fat, minerals (almost all the minerals necessary for young bodies), vitamins (almost all the vitamins needed in feeding Children, mineral salts, natural antibiotics (to strengthen the immunity of children) Natural antibiotic

What are the cases in which the mixture is given to young birds?

The mixture for baby birds is suitable in the following cases:

* When parents refuse to feed their young.

* When parents are unable to feed all their young in a balanced and equal manner.

*  I have less experience with parents in dealing with children.

*  When noticing that the large number of children creates a burden on parents in meeting the food needs of their children.

* As the children grow older, demanding food becomes more tiring for the parents, especially the female.

* When you want to remove the young from their parents, teach them a specific song.

Read also: Egg Trapping In Female Birds

What is the appropriate age to feed children with this mixture?

You can offer it starting from the second day of each youngster’s hatching from the egg for the duration of the youngsters’ stay in the nest, that is, approximately from the second day until the younglings are completely weaned.

* It is better to provide it in order to help parents feed their young, because parents feeding their young strengthens the immunity of small birds, as large birds transfer some immunity to their chicks through feeding. The topic is a little complicated, and we have touched on it in another topic.

* It is only used for very urgent needs, as I mentioned previously.

* When you want to remove the young children from their parents for the purpose of teaching them the language, do not remove them until after they have spent at least 7 days with their parents, making sure to provide them with the necessary warmth and extreme care.

How to prepare and serve a mixture for feeding chicks or young birds?

See the method in the video. Regarding the number of times it is presented, it is limited to several factors, including the behavior of the parents and how active they are in feeding their young.

In the event of loss of parents, God forbid, the young must be fed approximately every two hours, 5 to 8 times a day, according to the young’s need for food, that is, as soon as the young’s vesicles are almost empty, they must be fed again.

Very important note:

Do not press too much on the needle when feeding young birds so that they do not suffocate or so that their vesicles do not burst. Also, feed them very carefully and do not fill the birds’ vesicles too excessively. Approximately 75% of the vesicle is sufficient each time so that the young do not suffocate and die, God forbid.

The song of the frenzy of the goldfinch before the mating process. In the video, I tried to record the song of one of the goldfinches, the canary’s jay, as he was singing in preparation for the process of mating with a female canary to produce the hybrid, or what is called the goldfinch, which is the song of the goldfinch’s complete readiness. I recorded this audio clip for him over a period of half a day so that I could document this tweet and extract this agrooda.

Preparing a pair of goldfinches for production and mating

To prepare the goldfinch pair, we place the female goldfinch in the mating cage and provide her with all the nesting supplies. We attach the cage to the place in which production is to be made. We place the male goldfinch away from her so that the female goldfinch can hear his voice but not see him, for a period of 3 days after which we place the male goldfinch near it. The goldfinch is a little bit from the female goldfinch’s cage without seeing her, and we repeat the process until the two cages are adjacent to each other. Here we remove the barrier placed between them and observe their behavior. Is there harmony between the two pairs of goldfinch or not? Has it begun to approach each other and vaccinate them to each other? Has the male begun to become agitated at The female and does she take the mating position? If the previously mentioned matters are completed: here we can place the male and his female in the mating cage in which we have previously placed the nesting supplies. We observe their behavior. Has the husband accepted their hatred or is there a violent quarrel going on between them? In this case, we directly separate them by placing their cages together again, and this is a procedure. Precautionary so as not to lose one or both of them in the quarrel. We introduce him again after two days. Note that quarreling is necessary during the first meeting. It is in order to impose dominance over the female by the male. If she submits to him quickly and is not stubborn, then there is nothing wrong with that. But if the opposite is the case, separation and isolation is better at that moment, as I said previously.

How is a goldfinch mated in a cage?

After complete agreement between them: the female begins to collect the nest, and he helps her in doing so. The mating process is completed successfully. Here the important stage is that the female lies in the nest, meaning she is preparing to lay eggs. A day or two after fertilization, the eggs are placed in the nest. They lie on it and do not get out of it except to eat, drink, or defecate, for God’s sake. Note: The female’s stool will be large and firm. After 5 to 7 days, the female’s stool will be in the nest. We will take the nest, inspect the eggs, and verify their fertilization with great care and care. We will return them to their owner so she can incubate them again. After 15 days of incubating the eggs, we notice the emergence of the first chick, followed by the second, and so on, until all or most of them emerge. Then the couple takes turns inoculating them until they are weaned by the mother so that they are prepared again for a new nest. Taking care of food, especially at this stage, is very important in the life of chicks. Listening to the language for birds. You must create a memorization tape that suits you

How to produce a goldfinch in a cage

Many breeders face the problem of producing goldfinch in a cage. Some of them even think that it is impossible due to the difficulty of the matter for them. Yes, it is relatively difficult, especially for beginners, but it is very possible if you apply the correct method. With the permission of God Almighty, I will guide you to it, which is proven and effective, God willing:

1): Taking care of bird nutrition

To eat well and balanced throughout the year, especially the spare period and the production period, you will find it by using these topics.

2) :  The nature and shape of the goldfinch suitable for production

Characteristics of a male goldfinch suitable for mating: :
It must be a male, kept in the cage and domesticated with humans, and the grooming stage must be completed well, and the age should be from one and a half years.

Characteristics of the female goldfinch suitable for production:
It is the most important thing in the process. The cage must be curved necessarily, and it must be the most complete guard in the cage. It must be brightly colored, not afraid of people, and domesticated with them, meaning it does not consider them its enemies.

She is so affectionate that she feeds the male when he is introduced to her.

Age starting from one and a half years.

3): The shape and size of the cage suitable for producing goldfinches

It must be a large cage relative to the canary production cage. It must be decorated with natural or artificial foliage, especially cypress, pine or olive branches, because they are often its main support in nature for creating its nest.

* We put 2 nests in opposite corners of the cage so that the female can choose between them. The unwanted nest was taken away by the female after she chose one of them.

* Place sand on the floor of the cage and some gravel as well

* Providing many foods in the cage in order for the female to be reassured that food is available and to be psychologically prepared.

* Nesting tools are detailed in this video.

4  What is the place where the goldfinch is produced:

It must be quiet enough and let the sun shine Daylight and artificial lighting can be used. The cage is hung high in the room about 2.5 meters away from the sight of other birds that live in the houses.

How to examine female canaries in order to know whether or not they are ready for production. In this article, I will show you a few female canaries and male canaries that are ready and not for production in order to know the shape of their bellies.

How do we check the readiness of the canary:

We take the canary bird that we want to examine, turn it over like this on its back, then blow on its feathers until the skin of the canary’s belly appears like this. See the picture.

A picture of a female canary that is not ready for production

A female canary is not ready for production

In relation to this picture, it depicts the abdomen of a female canary bird that is not ready for production at all. The evidence for this is that the abdomen of this female is full of feathers, which are dense feathers, and the circumference of the canary is also not swollen yet, meaning that it is still not ready yet.

A picture of a female canary almost ready for production

A female canary bird is almost ready for production

As for this female canary, it has begun to prepare for production. As you can see, its belly has begun to shed feathers, as is the case with its outlet, Sharaf, may God have mercy on you. It has begun to swell a little and has begun to stand out. This picture explains the matter well. The rate of readiness for this female is approximately between 60 and 70 percent. .

A picture of a female canary bird ready for production

Female canary bird ready for production

This female is a female canary ready to produce. Watch the belly open and the feathers of this female’s belly fall out. God willing, it has reached 70 or 80 percent of readiness, and as you can see, the picture shows the matter very clearly.

A picture of a female canary bird, very ready for production

The female canary is very ready for production

This female that appears in this picture is a female canary, very ready, God willing, and her abdomen has become very swollen and she can begin mating. Normally, at this time, the female must be fertilized so that she does not lay empty eggs.

Note: In this case, if we do not introduce the male to this female, in most cases, after three days to a week, she will lay empty eggs without fertilization. This is what actually happened to her. This is what Canary breeders in particular and ornamental birds in general do not like it during the ornamental bird production season.

Just to clarify, I have put together this explanation in order to clarify the method of examining canaries’ bellies and also to clarify the stage at which the breeder must introduce the male canary bird to his female in the production cage.

As for the stage in which we must enter the male canary, because it is: the stage of readiness for the second female, shown in the picture above, and the stage of readiness for the third female canary as well, as you saw in the picture above. As for the first female canary, you should not put the male bird to her. In this case, even if you put it for her, quarrels may occur between the birds, especially if the male bird is ready, and this female will not collect the nest at this stage.

As for the fourth female canary, I advise you not to leave the females until they reach this stage of readiness, and the evidence is that I was inadvertently late in bringing them together with the male canary, and she laid empty eggs even though I watched the mating process, and the reason, of course, is that the eggs are in her stomach. Before mating and fertilization takes place.

How to check the readiness of male canaries

We went to see the stomachs and exits of some male canaries. May God honor you. As for examining them, it is like examining female canaries. All you have to do is hold the bird upside down, then blow on its stomach so that the feathers around the abdomen and the exit are removed as well.

For male canary birds, their reproductive system is visible and prominent since puberty, but it swells more during the period of production and readiness, and this swelling varies according to the different male canaries, their different types, and their varying readiness. The best proof of this is the pictures that will appear below, despite the fact that all of these Birds sing loudly, but there are some differences between them in readiness.

Picture of a male canary bird almost ready for production

Male canary almost ready

As you can see in this picture, this male is almost ready to fertilize, but he is not 100 percent ready, and the evidence for this is that his stomach and reproductive system still retain feathers.

Picture of a male canary bird ready for production

Picture of the belly of a male canary bird ready for production

As for this male in the picture, he is a male canary bird ready for production, and the evidence is that feathers have begun to fall from his stomach, and his reproductive system is also more swollen than what it was like in the previous male canary in the first picture above.

What are the reasons for ornamental birds eating or breaking their eggs?

There are many reasons why birds eat their eggs, including:

* A severe deficiency in calcium in birds: females eat their eggs in order to compensate their bodies for this important nutritional element in their lives, especially since egg shells are rich in mineral salts as well as minerals, the most important of which are calcium and phosphorus.

* A severe shortage of some nutrients: Birds also eat their eggs if they suffer from a lack of food and the necessary elements that sustain their lives. These components are proteins, vitamins, and also some amino acids.

* Males: In some cases, male ornamental birds are the reason for breaking the eggs of ornamental birds. The reason is that these males try to force the females to prepare for mating again in this way, and these males are often characterized by their ability and high efficiency in fertilizing females.

* Females: In some cases, the female is the reason for breaking her eggs, but by mistake, and the direct reason in this case is her getting up from the nest quickly while she is frightened or frightened, and the breeder is the reason because he frightened her or forced her to get up in order to examine the eggs or inspect the nest. This causes a female bird to accidentally break her eggs.

* Reptiles and rodents: In some cases, these creatures frighten birds and cause them to accidentally break their eggs, especially since these animals are active at night. Therefore, it is necessary to cover the windows with a special net to prevent these reptiles from entering the ornamental bird room or the bird production room. You can Review the video below to learn about it.

* The cage or nest: One of the reasons that cause the eggs of ornamental birds to break is that the cage and nest are not well fixed in place, meaning that as soon as the birds move in the cage, it is displaced or moved, and thus the eggs shift and collide with each other, especially while the female is crouching. On the nest or getting up from it, and this is a direct cause of egg breakage as well.

* The length of the nails of female ornamental birds: Here I mean female ornamental birds that build their nests and wrap them with nesting threads, for example, the female canary, the female goldfinch, and other female birds that rely on wrapping and building the nest in this way. The reason is that these birds’ nails get stuck in the nest threads, and while they stand up, they unintentionally drag the nest and break the eggs by mistake. This is why the female extracts the damaged or broken egg, either by eating it and taking advantage of its components, or by throwing it outside the nest so as not to spoil the rest of the eggs in the nest.

* Nesting threads: Another reason for the broken eggs of ornamental birds is that the breeder provides nest threads that are not suitable for the female birds to wrap in the nest. The best types of these threads are burlap threads that are sold ready-made for this purpose if they are available to the breeder, and if they are not available, you can bring a burlap bag. Then you cut it into small pieces of 7 or 8 centimeters in length, crumble it, and then offer it to your birds. It is very suitable for this matter.

Note: Do not provide artificial cotton to birds to collect the nest with: one of the worst types of materials that can be provided to birds for this purpose is artificial cotton, as this material causes many problems in birds’ nests and is a major factor in breaking eggs and amputating birds’ fingers. In some cases, it may cause the death of chicks.

How do I teach my birds to sing and sing?

Birds are considered a type of animal in which some species can learn a few sounds and sing them, but not all birds can learn, chirp, or sing what the breeder wants them to learn. In this article, I will mention to you almost all types of ornamental birds that can learn to chirp, sing, and make a few sounds for you to imitate as they are or in their own way.

How to teach birds to sing, sing and sing

Ornamental birds are among the birds that humans loved and raised in cages and wanted to take care of them since ancient times. This is due either to their beautiful shape and color or to their voice and sweet song. These types are divided into two groups, which are as follows: the type of ornamental songbirds and the type of talking weena birds or talking parrots. As for the method of teaching birds Ornamentation as a whole, whether singing or speaking as well, we will discuss it in detail, but after we mention all the types of birds that can sing or speak, so that the breeder gets a general idea about the subject and also so that he does not make a mistake and start teaching birds that are not suitable for this matter and waste effort with them. And time spent on education, in the end the effort as a whole is wasted, and we begin with God’s blessing on the subject.

Names of songbirds

From the name, it is clear to us that this type of bird is the type of chirping and chirping birds, and they are mostly small birds. They either learn how to hear sounds from their surroundings and then repeat them, or they learn to tweet from their parents and chirps. We will mention each type separately, as well as its characteristics. Twitter and also a brief overview of it. As for the details about each type of these birds, I have previously posted previous articles about them on the Bird Hobby Blog or explanatory videos on the Bird Hobby Channel.

Goldfinch songbird:

The goldfinch is one of the very beautiful songbirds that was able to claim the title of king of songbirds, and it earned this title because it really deserves it because It is one of the very rare birds that can learn all the syllables and sounds of other songbirds that live around it. As this bird is young, it has a very great ability to learn the sounds and songs of other birds around it. Some scientists in this field have indicated that the goldfinch resorts to this method in order to protect itself from predators in its surroundings. The goldfinch was named due to its beautiful voice and very beautiful appearance, according to Arabic language experts. The goldfinch is gaining increasing popularity in its breeding as a beloved ornamental bird for millions of people across all parts of the world, and this, unfortunately, has made it vulnerable to extinction in the wild.

These species can learn some distinctive tones and sing them, unlike other types of canaries that cannot sing them in full.

A hybrid bird of goldfinch and canary:

It is also a distinguished bird in learning syllables and chirps from other ornamental birds, such as the song of the goldfinch, the song of the canary, and most other ornamental birds, and even a few telephone rings and simple tones. The hybrid of the goldfinch and the canary is one of the fastest ornamental birds capable of learning. It also sings and acquired these characteristics from the genes of its parents, i.e. the goldfinch and the canary. Therefore, it is always recommended to isolate it from birds and other sounds if the breeder wants it to learn only certain parts. Its only flaw is its sterility, meaning that The hybrid is not a productive bird, but it has strong desires to mate, and hybrid females are more affectionate in caring for the chicks of other birds.

Names of talking and talking parrots:

Parrots are considered among the distinctive birds that can learn and speak a very large group of words. They also learn many sounds, ringtones, and sounds, as some species can learn and pronounce more than 1,000 words. Perhaps the most famous of them is the African gray parrot or the casco parrot. They are divided into parrots. There are two types of decorations: large talking parrots and small parrots that chirp and learn a few limited sounds and words, but the difference between these types of parrots is, firstly, the size, secondly the carrying capacity, and thirdly, the second type is that only the males can speak and speak, while the females do not speak in this type of parrots. Like the male ones. While the large type of parrots in which both sexes can learn and speak, i.e. males and females, we will mention to you some types and varieties of these birds.

Little talking parrots:

Cockatiel parrot bird:

The cockatiel or curlew parrot orcockatiel birds is a bird of the medium-sized parrot family. The curlew’s original homeland returns to the continent of Australia, and the cockatiel is found frequently in the regions. The humid country of Australia and its fertile lands. The curlew is a very valuable and popular bird among all other domestic ornamental birds, such as lovebirds. Cockatiels are among the parrots famous for their delicate nature and that they are social, friendly, quiet birds. Cockatiels are easy to raise and are now becoming more popular among The rest of the parrots and the beautiful cockatiel birds have a crest of long feathers on the top of their heads. It may not be present in some other types of curlews, as there are very many types and colors. The curlew is also distinguished by its ability to learn many sounds and sing them easily, while the sound of the original cockatiel does not exceed only a few whistles. However, the curlew is proof of its ability and intelligence in He imitates many of the sounds and tones he sings very well. This is an example of a cockatiel’s song.

Budgerigar lovebirds:

Lovebirds, budgies, or dura parrots are social birds that live in large groups and flocks in the wild in Australia. For this reason, it is usually recommended that their captive breeders provide a lot of attention and play with them, and special toys must also be provided. For them, the life span of budgerigars in captivity extends between six and eight years, but if you provide them with the necessary care, they may live longer. Parrots are considered lovebirds or budgerigars among the birds that can produce, mate and hatch throughout the year, but on the condition that they feel safe and secure and that there is provision for them. These types are amazingly fluent speakers, as they are You can also understand what the breeder asks of it, for example, simple commands, as well as respond to it in the form of short conversations or dialogues. I will mention to you a few types of these talking parrots or talking parrots, which are.

Casco parrot or gray parrot:

About the African Gray Casco Parrot: The African Gray Parrot (scientific name: Psittacus erithacus) (in English: African Gray Parrot), also known as the Gray Parrot or the Casco Parrot, is one of the types of African parrots that belong to the Psittacidae family. The Casco parrot is distinguished by its medium size and has It was first found in the rainforests of West and Central Africa. Experts consider the Casco parrot one of the smartest birds and parrots in the world. It feeds mainly on palm tree fruits, such as nuts, seeds, natural fruits, leafy vegetables, and asha nuts, which it loves very much. Its diet also includes animal proteins, namely insects such as large larvae and land snails.

The casco bird or casco parrot can imitate many words and sounds, and thanks to this ability to imitate the words and words of its handler, it has become very popular among all types of pets, especially pet birds or ornamental parrots, and this is what led some hunters in Africa to hunt it. To a very large extent, many Casco parrots were captured and sold in pet markets, and this made them vulnerable to the deterioration of their numbers and their scarcity in the wild. In fact, they became among the birds that were close to extinction in the wild.

Macaw parrot or Macaw:

Macaw (in English: Macaw) is a name given to a large group of parrots of different colors and sizes, and it is a member of the true parrot family, within which many other genera fall, namely six types, which are called the macaw parrot. The origin of the macaw parrot goes back to Mexico, Central America, and South America, or as it was previously called, the Caribbean Sea. Man, as each bird has its own mark. The largest type of macaw is the scarlet or red macaw. Cockatoo parrot:

Mostly, the color of the cockatoo parrot is white, black, grey, or pink or orange as well. The cockatoo parrot is distinguished by its beautiful crest that stands erect when it is excited or happy. It is also sad. It has a different and distinctive color. The cockatoo is rare among many other species, including the small cockatiel. The cockatoo shares many characteristics with other parrots, including distinctive curved beaks, size, and feet. Cockatoo parrots can also learn and pronounce words, whether females or males.

These are most of the birds and parrots that can learn chirps, sounds, words, and sentences as well. We will go over the method of teaching birds these sounds, which are some tips and information about this matter.

Information about teaching birds to tweet or sing:

First, before you buy a specific type of these birds or parrots, you must first determine your desire to raise these birds in order to acquire the type that suits your needs. For example, if you want to sing, you should choose songbirds or songbirds from what was mentioned previously, such as a goldfinch, a canary, or a bird. Hybrid, but if you want to teach your bird a few rings and tones or even simple sounds, then you should choose a type of small-sized parrots or medium-sized parrots, such as a cockatiel parrot, a curlew parrot, a budgerigar parrot, or one of the small lovebirds, but what is wrong with these two types is that their females do not sing. It does not utter just a few sounds. Therefore, if you want to teach one of these types of birds or parrots, you should acquire males, as they are more capable of memorizing, tweeting, or pronouncing sounds and tones. However, if you are one of the people who want to teach their bird to speak and have conversations, then you should use large parrots. Speaking, this will fulfill this purpose in a completely satisfactory way, but we will not deny that the price of these parrots is high, and they also require large expenses from their breeders, as well as time and effort in caring for them.

How to teach birds to chirp, sing, or talk:

As for the method of teaching birds, first, you must buy a young bird, preferably a male. Second, you must accustom it to the new place and accustom it to yourself as a source of security, food, and protection for it. Third, you must choose a specific clip to teach it and listen to it for separate periods of time during the day. That is, once in the morning, once in the middle of the day, and once before his sleep, that is, before sunset, for a period of not less than an hour, while repeating the same syllable to him and not changing it, and remaining consistent with it until he learns it and speaks or tweets that desired syllable. You also need to be patient because this period of learning may be long. It may last for several months in a row, but in the end you will find that your bird has begun to pronounce words, chirps, or sounds, and why not conversations. As for these tweets, words, sounds, and clips, I have previously put them in the form of videos on the Hobby Birds channel on YouTube, if you would like to watch and hear one of them. Lists of votes and tweets or through the channel’s home page.

I also advise you to listen to the clips and compare them before you determine what is suitable for you and what appeals to your hearing first before you listen to your bird. You must also hear the appropriate sound for the appropriate species, and I promise you that if all these conditions are met, your bird will learn, God willing. I wish you, my brother or sister, success in this matter. My greetings to you and to all the friends who share our love of this hobby. I welcome you to follow us on our social pages in order to receive everything new after uploading it to.

Red Factor Canary or Red Factor Canary

Is the red canary bird original or dyed? A question that has been asked to me many times by some friends who follow, whether on the bird hobby pageor the bird hobby channel. In order to resolve this ambiguity in the topic, and through this article, I will try to clarify this information or question, God Almighty willing. And we will begin with God’s blessing.

Red Canary, is it original or not?

Before we answer this question, we must first shed light on the red factor, or in Arabic, the red factor, so to speak. So, what is the red factor in short? It is a gene carried on an allele that is located within the chromosome responsible or the part of the chromosome responsible  for the process of coloring the bird, or in short, it is a part Infinitesimal among many other parts present at the level (the DNA or DNA), the shape and composition of colors in birds differ according to the difference in the form of this gene or (the components of this gene, known scientifically as nucleotides). These extremely small particles differ in function according to the difference in their function. Their structure within chromosomes or chromosomes, as well as the differences between the chromosomes themselves and their numbering and shape. After getting to know this part very briefly, we will try to answer the following question:

How can I distinguish the original red canary from the fake red bird:

Before answering this question, we must know the source of red melanin and how it reached the canary, even though the canary originally was not red at all. In the 1920s or the twentieth century, the red Sora bird was brought to Venezuela, or what is scientifically called the red Saxon, which was its homeland at that time. The countries of South America, specifically the state of Venezuela, and the credit was due to the European soldiers who brought it during the era of World War I, led by George Baum-Peltzer, the military ambassador, Andak, and it is rumored that he was the first to produce this hybrid and also to bring South American birds to Europe repeatedly, and in this era Many breeders, as well as ornithologists interested in this field, tried to hybridize it with the yellow canary, out of their desire to discover new types of birds and environmental diversity. After many attempts and many generations, all the hybrid birds produced were sterile at first, and most of their colors were different, including yellow. Dark or orange-tinged, some of them are also characterized by a mask attributed to their male fathers, the Red Saxon and the black mask. After experimenting and researching, some of its producers arrived at hybrid and productive females, and through them they were able to provide a hybrid and productive strain between the yellow canary bird and the red masked Saxon bird. Birds are orange in color at best. Several decades later, it was discovered that birds need to be supplied with creatine, which is a natural chemical that can dissolve in fats and which is found in some vegetables and fruits, such as carrots and beets. Most likely, this discovery was by chance as a result of diversification. Eating, here the brightness of the color appeared, i.e. the color of the feathers, and the red color appeared prominently in many varieties of the red canary or the Red Victor canary, but despite all that, the colors were not bright enough until after some preparations for feeding birds were developed that would color the feathers. Birds effectively. After much experimentation in the laboratories of food production companies for birds, some dyes have been developed to color the feathers of canaries, giving them a bright and bright color. A food schedule and diet has been studied and adhered to by the breeder. The question remains, basically, how to verify the authenticity of the canary. Red is different from the fake canaries. This is what we will answer in the next paragraph.

Is there a natural red canary?

In fact, in order to remove the confusion and as a clear and frank answer, there is no original red canary at all. The origin of the red color is the result of what was previously mentioned, which is that its genes contain the red factor or the red factor, and that the breeder provided it with food colorings, whether natural or artificial, and as a convincing answer, he could not. Anyone who has yet produced a red canary based on a normal or original canary for this red color is merely an alien trait to the canary bird. This is why all red birds are excluded in internationally recognized canary song competitions because they are not original, but rather are the product of the mating of two different breeds of birds and gave this Adjective, this was the useful summary of the topic. I hope I have satisfied the curiosity of some of the people who always ask us about this topic and we have removed their confusion so that the question in the future is not: Is this red canary original or fake? But the logical question is: To which category does this red canary belong? Or how can I maintain the dark color of this red canary?

Very important note

It is absolutely not possible for a natural yellow canary to change its color to red unless it is dyed through a dye or colorant applied externally to the feathers and not through feeding, and this is what I have discussed in many previous topics.
