Prepare the canary cage; By opening its door, then placing a stick (wooden stick) with a length equal to the cage door, so that it is fixed perpendicular to the door opening.

Tie a string to the end of the stick, so that it allows you to close the door when you pull it, as if creating a trap.

Place a piece of lettuce at the furthest point of the cage.

Place the cage at the highest point available to you in your home, such as on the roof.

Play the sound of the female canary’s calls on the phone next to the cage, since the canary has a strong sense of hearing, so he can approach her.

Stand far away from the cage, so that the canary does not become confused by your presence.

Pull the string tied to the door, so that it closes the cage door when he enters it.
