Information For Your Bird Before Mating

Today I will present some conditions that must be provided for a bird before mating or breeding, and we must also limit some things:

– The familiarity between the bird and its owner, and here I only mean not to be afraid of the owner when approaching, because when the nest is placed, the bird will use it only as a hideout, not as a nest to lay eggs, and perhaps even If he lays the eggs when you want to explore the eggs, he is very afraid that the eggs will break or crack (you must knock on the nest door before opening it).

– Choose the appropriate nest for each type, and it is best if it is made of wood because it warms and makes the bird feel reassured.

– Foods that stimulate mating, for example: boiled eggs with rusks and rice flour, as well as watercress.

– Providing sufficient calm, lighting, and silence after sunset, and not disturbing it, so that the bird can be reassured.

Good ventilation and cleanliness are important, of course.

– Place the cage in a high place because the bird always chooses high places to build its nests.

– Place the male in the mating cage for a month before placing the female, so that the female submits and feels that she is a guest, and does not place the nest until after the female is placed.
