Parrot lovebirds: such as the pink-faced lovebird and the yellow-faced lovebird.

The Dorra parrot, or what is called the good bird: It is the most famous species in the world.

Forbes’s parrot: This species includes the Linnated parrot, the blue-winged parrot, the green-bellied Forbes’ parrot, the Pacific parrot, and the yellow-faced parrot.

Other species: Bourke’s parakeet, scarlet-breasted parakeet.

Parrot birds of medium size

Parrot birds are medium-sized, ranging in length from (23-33) cm, and the most important species they include are: 

Caique parrot: such as the black-headed caique parrot, the white-bellied caique parrot, and the green-bellied caique parrot.

Aratinga Cornuris: This species also includes the blue parakeet, St. Thomas conure, red-masked parakeet, dusky-headed conure, jandaya conure, diluted conure, Nandi conure, orange-fronted parakeet, peach parakeet, and sun parakeet.

Perura conures: such as the black-capped parakeet, the blue-capped parakeet, the scarlet parakeet, the green-tailed parakeet, and the maroon-belled parakeet.

Loris parrot and lorises: such as the black-colored Western loris, the blue-necked loris, the shattering loris, the dark loris, and the rainbow loris.

Pinus parrot: such as the blue-headed pinus parrot, the bronze-winged pinus parrot, the dusky pinus parrot, the pinus maximilian parrot, and the white-crowned pinus parrot.

Bucephalus parrot : such as the brown-headed parakeet, Cape parakeet, red-fronted parakeet, Meyer’s parakeet, red-bellied parakeet, and Senegal parrot.

Cockatoo parrot: such as the small cockatoo, salmon cockatoo, tanimbar cockatoo, pink cockatoo, and gala cockatoo.

Large parrot birds

Parrot birds are large in size, ranging in length from (33-50) cm, and the most important species they include are:

Cockatoo parrot: Such as the yellow-crested cockatoo, the citron-crested cockatoo, the blue-eyed cockatoo, the great sulphur-crowned cockatoo, the thin-billed cockatoo, the Moluccan cockatoo, and the white cockatoo.

Parakeet: such as the Plum-headed Parakeet, Regent’s Parakeet, and Derby Parakeet.

African Gray Parrot: Same as the Timna parrot.

Amazon parrot: such as the turquoise Amazon parrot, the yellow-headed Amazon, the Mexican red-headed parrot, the yellow-crowned Amazon, the orange-winged Amazon, the red-tailed Amazon parrot, the yellow-crowned Amazon, and the yellow-headed Amazon.

Macaw parrot: such as the blue-winged macaw and the golden-collared macaw.

Other species: Eclectus parrot, hawk-headed parrot.

Parrot birds are very large in size

Very large parrot birds, which range in length (55-100), and the most important species they include are:

Palm parrot: such as the Goliath cockatoo and the large black cockatoo.

Cockatoo parrot: It is another type of bird that has shown the ability to speak, but it has difficulty during training to speak, but it is the bird that has a softer and sweeter voice than other parrot birds.

African Gray Parrot: African Gray Parrots are ranked as the best speakers in the bird world, with the ability to imitate up to 1,000 words.

Amazon Parrot: The colorful and eye-catching Amazon parrots are an entire species of large bird that can amass an impressive vocabulary.
